DeLinda N. Baker was raised a Christian. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and majored in accounting; she graduated in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in business.

Toward the end of her sophomore year in college, DeLinda felt the tug of the Holy Spirit and made a commitment to follow and live for Jesus. From that day on, her life began to change as God began to work in her life.

Professionally, DeLinda started out in accounting and then became a technical consultant assisting companies in moving manual accounting processes onto computerized systems. For the remainder and bulk of her career, she was a project manager for technical, process, and merger initiatives for a major national bank. In this capacity, she moved up in rank until she retired in 2015.

Spiritually however, DeLinda began to discover different gifts and desires. Early in her walk with the Lord, among those gifts, she found she had a deep desire to teach. While initially she led Bible studies developed by other authors, she later began to develop her own studies on topics that plagued Christians and were often misrepresented in our culture. Her passion in teaching is to be true to the Word of God and to not add or subtract from it.

DeLinda has served as deacon for numerous years in her church, actively participated in the leadership of the women’s ministry, led Sunday school classes, and assisted with administrative and financial projects in the church.

She is married to her husband of over 35 years, Robert, and has three adult children.
